Glad there are still stores like this one in Houston with people passionate about what they do and the finish product. Took a pair of Loake shoes that I love but wore too much and there were holes in the soles… like my socks would touch the ground… JR did a phenomenal job and they look like new. Highly recommend this shop!

If you love your shoes and care about them a lot, take them here. You’ll be happy you did. I drive about an hour to get here from my house, and it is definitely worth it. One of my cowgirl boots got damaged on the toe area, so it made it painful for me to wear. After my boots got fixed and I went home to try them on, I couldn’t even remember if it was the left boot or the right boot that was hurting me because they both felt perfect and totally comfortable. These boots are really sentimental to me, and I was afraid I’d never be able to wear them again, but thanks to West Shoe Hospital they’re better than ever. They also got leather conditioned, and none of the embroidery changed color or got damaged. Also, I got new soles on my sandals and I’m confident they’ll last for years. Really nice craftsmanship and they feel much nicer on my feet.

Couldn’t recommend this place enough!! JR did an amazing job when I brought in a pair of sneakers to clean; he not only returned it (basically) to brand new condition, but the job was done in less than 48 hours Reasonable price, great work, fast turnaround. Can’t ask for better than that. Will recommend to everybody in the Houston area.

I’ve been a loyal customer of Jose’s for years, and he has always gone above and beyond for his clients, including myself and my family. The recent break-in at his store was devastating, but Jose has handled the situation with professionalism and respect, reaching out to keep his customers informed and cared for. He’s put his heart and soul into his business, and it shows in the way he treats everyone who walks through his doors. Jose is a truly good person, and he’s doing everything he can to make things right for his customers.
