Power Movers Houston

Good Evening I contracted Power Movers to move me from a 2 bedroom apartment in Houston to Richmond Texas. I was excited about my move and they sent a moving crew of 3 men to get the job done on Aug 30,2024. 30 minutes into the move, Isaiah which was one of my movers loaded his dolly with 6 of my moving bins that was marked fragile for kitchen and dining. As he walked out of my apartment, I could see the dolly was leaning forward and heard a loud crash to the ground. Every piece of my dishes, fine china, crystal glasses, dishes candle holders goblets vases cookware etc and my mom’s valuable 50 piece dish set and her fine teacups and saucers were completely broken and damaged. I am totally heartbroken and I called Power Movers and opened up a claim and was insulted today by advising they are only willing to pay me 250.00 for everything that I lost due to the negligence of their mover. All of my precious items are now sitting in the trash and should be in my new home, It’s obvious this company does not stand by their morals and commitment to their clients due to how I’m getting railroaded with this ridiculous offer of 250.00 I will NEVER trust Power Movers to move me ever again. I have been extremely upset since this incident occurred and this makes it no better. Please beware before trusting this company with your valuables and belongings; they will damage them and break stuff and do not accept any accountability and call you and say we only pay 61 cent on the dollar. Well I will not be accepting that at all. None of my items lossed due to Isaish negligence and carelessness can be replaced and I never thought Power Movers would treat me this way after I told them immediately what happened and provided proof. Janice Woodard forever heartbroken!!

Power Movers did an excellent job from start to finish! Special kudos to Francis Matthews and Isiah Pena for handling our items with care and professionalism. Thank you gentlemen. We will be using Power Movers again and definitely referring friends and family.

I hade a wonderful experience yesterday with Power Movers. From the initial phone call with Jasmine it was clear and she was extremely helpful. I needed away around..the delivery service with Star Furniture and This company picked up the ball and didn’t drop it. The company sent a truck and 2 men in a timely manner after speaking with Jasmine - I met them there - they were professional and courteous in every way. We met back at my home - They moved furniture pieces of the truck with care even loaded and strapped all the boxes. I needed to be sure the order was complete as well as correct boxes they cut open enough to verify all was correct. During this the movers were patient - it was no problem. Assembly was smooth no problems - No scratches no mishandling of furniture with this company. I love decorating my home it has been a passion of mine for 25 yr. It was a pleasure working with this Company Juanye - and E- thank you gentlemen!

This is the most fantastic crew I have ever met. They treated us like family. I particularly want to thank our crew of four amazing gentleman. Jesse, Lance, Isiah and Ethan. They have great positive attitudes and are very pleasant to converse with. They work very fast and are incredibly efficient in working together as a team. I would personally recommend them to any family and friends.

This was a great choice, the guys (lances crew) was great they were punctual and fast. They took great care of our belongings. They got from point a to point b in a timely manner. They got everything in my new location quickly and where I wanted it to go. I 100% recommend their services and if I need to move again I will call on them without hesitation.
