Dr. Moder was a gem from start to finish. I felt like my concerns were being heard and that my past experiences were validated. Not only did she lay out all my options in a manner that made sense and was fully flushed out, but she also let me see what one of my options for hearing aids was going to be like. I broke down crying. It was such clarity. I hadn't had access to good hearing aids in a considerable amount of time. For Dr. Moder to just assure me that I would be making the right choice ahead of time overwhelmed me with emotion. I felt certain that I had not only made the right choice for hearing aid treatment but, also, that I had made the correct decision to partner with Allison Audiology. This was the singular most emotional experience that I've ever had at an audiology appointment in my whole life, that I can remember. Our first time visiting your office. Everyone was so professional; clean office; state of the Art equipment; great hearing aid presentation and invaluable advice. Dr. Larson was knowledgable and compassionate in her presentation and we were very impressed with her.

I first went to Allison Audiology to get my hearing tested 5 years ago. As it turned out, I was not hearing 100% so I needed to get hearing aids. At the ripe age of 64 I didn't want anyone to be able to tell that I had them so luckily I was able to use the Lyric hearing aids, which fit snugly in your ear canal unbeknownst to all. The only thing about them is that they are so small that you have to have them changed out every 6 weeks. But--to me it's well worth it. All the staff at Allison Audiology are warm, down to earth individuals. They are fairly young compared to me, but they certainly don't treat you differently than they would a 30 year old. I feel very fortunate to have found Allison Audiology, and even better they are only 10 minutes away from where I live!!

I believe we will get quality hearing aids if they can get my insurance company to pay them. We were surprised to find out they can’t get our claim to go through. They said it happens every year. If they had told us beforehand we would’ve waited to go in. We had to pay almost $200 before we left after thinking it would only be a $20 copay. (Per my insurance company). So we are very disappointed in not being told ahead of time. Also I was told the exam was going to be $99. I took notes so I know this. We communicated with them for two years and changed our insurance just so we could go there and now they can’t reach my insurance company to get paid so I have to pay. Everywhere else my insurance works. Doctor’s, eyeglasses, but not here. The office girls are nice and they are trying to fix the problem but 2 years of waiting for my husband to hear better has turned into a lot of disappointment and frustration. I will update if this gets worked out. Make sure they can get your insurance to work so you don’t have to go through this. I’m hoping to get reimbursed from them.
