When we decided to adopt a puppy from BARC, one non-negotiable was getting professional training to give her the very best start in life possible. BIDT is right down the street so we signed Poppy up for Puppy Class (where they would train us ). Kate was an excellent teacher and very quickly, our little girl was responding to what we all learned. We added Puppy Day School and the amazing trainers took her learning to a new level. With their positive, energetic approach, she gained so much confidence around people and other dogs. By introducing her to so many different situations and stimuli, she has developed into a happy, well balanced five month old. She walks well on a leash, ignores barking dogs we pass and has a host of behaviors we need and love for all of us to be successful in this endeavor. As an added benefit, our training and the resources provided are helping us problem-solve as various situations arise. Every team member at BIDT has been wonderful. It’s no wonder Poppy adores them all! We are so appreciative of the positive start we’ve been able to give to Poppy thanks to BIDT. Thank you!

Our first dog came here over 6 years ago, and now we have our new puppy enrolled. I'm extremely pleased with the Puppy Day School (PDS) and Group Class at Stephanie's BIDT that our puppy Bridgette has been attending. Our group class instructor, Valerie, is fantastic and makes training enjoyable and productive. Their program offers much more than basic training. Starting Bridgette young during the critical socialization period has yielded great results. She benefits from exposure we can't replicate at home, such as interacting with various trainers, exposure to novel stimuli, and playing with different puppies in a safe, controlled environment. Combining our home training with BIDT's comprehensive approach—including PDS, group classes, and the provided homework—has led to remarkable progress. As someone who enjoys training my dogs at home, I can confidently say that BIDT's resources and expertise have significantly boosted our dog's confidence. At 4 months old, it's already been fun seeing her navigate trails at state parks. I highly recommend BIDT to anyone looking to raise a confident and well-socialized dog.

We have done two different training group classes (Adult Intermediate and Fitpaws)at Believe in Dog and have absolutely loved it as much as our pup. The mental stimulation and chance to build positive relationship with our pup is well worth it! The staff is friendly, informative, and supportive. Lily has been our trainer and she is amazing! Her love for dogs and helping build that connection with their owners is clearly evident and her patience is infectious. We will definitely be looking for more classes as they have a diverse range of classes.

I brought my pup to school here, which I highly recommend, but the experience goes beyond just the training. Stephanie’s boutique is fantastic, offering a wide range of toys that are more than just fun—each one is carefully selected to promote enrichment, interaction, and mental stimulation. Every "toy" serves a specific purpose, and everything I’ve bought has been both beneficial for my dog and enjoyable for her. Even if your pup isn’t enrolled in school there, you can still visit the boutique, where the staff will help you find toys that support corrective behaviors, keeping your dog entertained and engaged at home, while also giving you some peace!
