Phenomenal job. I came in with a vintage bridesmaid dress that belonged to my mom in the 90s. I met with Amy, and she listened to all of my concerns. The dress was taken in, and the tailoring blends seamlessly. We also added buttons to the neckline to make it changeable. The price came to $75 dollars- still cheaper than getting a new dress! Plus, she even made some repairs at no cost. The turnaround time was 2 weeks, but I was in no rush, and I'm sure it could've been completed sooner if I wanted. I’ve had mixed experiences with this alteration shop. While they generally do a decent job, I encountered a significant issue with one of my dresses, which was ruined. When I picked it up, Amy downplayed the situation, insisting that the way it was hemmed was the only option. The result looked terrible, and although I paid for their work, I left disappointed and unable to wear the dress. The prices are steep for the quality of service. My last alteration—a simple 1-inch take-in on the back—cost me $40, which feels excessive given the small change. With the Heights gaining popularity, it seems they’ve increased their prices without a corresponding rise in quality. If you're in a hurry, this shop can get the job done, but I’d recommend taking the extra 15 minutes to find a more reliable place for alterations.
