Total Women's Care: Vonne Jones, MD, FACOG

I used to love coming to her office the last visit I had with Dr Jones I raised a concern because I felt something in my breast and without even checking she said it was probably normal and I was billed extra for raising a concern . I ended up going to get a yearly exam with another doctor a year later and she felt my breast and immediately showed concern and sent me off to get my breast checked and a biopsy . Ladies if you feel like something is wrong with your breast or body period and you raise a concern with one doctor and they show no concern please go to another one until someone takes you serious.

Dr. Jones is truly the only American doctor I’ve liked. She is kind, understanding and a good listener. I never feel like my appointments are rushed and she does a great job making patients feel comfortable and cared for. It is sad that most doctors don’t have this kind of care anymore. Keep it up Dr. Jones!!!

It’s been over a year now since my last visit to Dr Jones’s. Had only been twice. And I really didn’t want to go after the first visit but because I had not found another doctor, I thought I’ll give her another chance . At the time of second visit I was 49 with 3 kids so of coarse I have had tons of gyno appointments. Well with this visit this lady did nothing to me. First she was down there doing something with the device, I’m not sure what was going on then she proceeded to exam me and she absolutely did nothing. When she said it was over. I was like whaaaaat to myself and said she did nothing. Absolutely nothing. I don’t know if she thought I wouldn’t know the difference but I did and left that office very disappointed. I’m not a person that loves confrontation so I said nothing but smile and left. I am a real busy person but that visit never left my mind and I promised myself I would right a review.I never got a call about results which doesn’t surprise me because there are probably none. One of the reason I went to her was because she was a black doctor and I want to support my own. But now I am right back to a doctor Of another race, I am so disappointed . I was reading the reviews and I see people are still having these experiences. I would not recommend anyone try this doctor. I feel she is there to collect her pay and that’s it. No concern for you. My daughter also went once and her experience was horrible as well. But I’ll let her tell that story. Before I go let me not forget no bedside manner. It was almost as if she was forcing herself to say anything. Which is the reason why I didn’t want to go back in the first place. Please stay away

My visit with Dr. Jones was not what I thought I would experience based on the reviews. The Doctor and Assist seemed to focus too much on being on birth control though I empathized I'm happily married (over 14 years) and we have been infertile. There was no empathy nor compassion. There was neither further questions about infertility. Just birth control. Dr. Jones bedside manners seems to be rushed. So, I will not be visiting this office again. The stars are for thr cleanliness and assisting staff at the front desk.

I have fallen in love with Dr. Jones and her staff. Everyone was wonderful. I moved to Houston from Louisiana and have been in search of a new doctor. I was so pleased with my visit. Dr. Jones was pleasant, knowledgeable and very kind and her staff were wonderful. I have finally found my new doctor and my daughters and I will continue to come to her for our medical treatments.
