Nice place, they don’t take chips out of the pot. I played 1 and 3 Texas holdem and really enjoyed it. Will be back

First time here at lions and experience was a good one. Large poker room and for the most part all the employees and dealers are friendly. Some of the players I can't say the same about but that's hard to avoid. Lots of action at the cash games with your aments going on also. Food was great as well. Can be a little bit of a challenge to get service early on in the day. More staff seemed to come in as the day progresses. I'll be back.

I had a blast. Nice room, 12, 14 tables or so and 7 were going Monday night. $1/$3, and a PLO table, but as in Texas it plays much bigger. I LOVE the lack of rake - for $10 initiation fee, $10 day admission and $60 hourly security fee (right!) you get a dealer who is pretty good, a table where the language is 1/3 Spanish, 1/3 Chinese, 1/3 English, so hey, it is cool.

Played my first tournament on 11/18/17 . it was great. The place looks amazing, and the staff was very inviting and friendly. I have a few concerns with the way the tournament was ran and the dealers. Other than that it was awesome i will be back.

Never Fold Poker

I've come here a few times now that I'm in Houston.. Very fun poker room with knowledgeable and nice staff, safe valet for your car, 20 TVs mounted to watch sports, talented dealers, restaurant-quality food, and lots of tournaments and cash game action. It is rare to see so many women in a poker room, yet there is lots of diversity with both men and women from worldwide at the tables. English only during poker hands of course, yet you might hear 4 different languages around while you play. The staff always treats me and everyone else very well. I don't want to go anywhere else to play poker in Houston than Lions poker room.
