Houston Dog Ranch is heaven on earth for dogs! I am keeping my son’s golden retriever while he is out of the country in graduate school. Butters was having issues being around other dogs, so I booked a private cabin with its own yard to board him a few times when I had to leave town. Each time everyone on the staff was super helpful and very polite, and HAPPY! These people love what they do. I knew he needed extensive training, so I enrolled him in their 3 week program. His trainer, Sarah, was amazing. She is a true professional and very good. She had him doing things I didn’t think were possible and by the end of training he was running free with other dogs having the time of his life! He is now a proper gentleman. I’m excited to take him out and about around Houston and my son has peace of mind knowing that he will be okay around other dogs. Many thanks to the entire team at Houston Dog Ranch!

We have 2 new rescue huskies that desperately needed training. We corresponded primarily with Jeff whose communication is better than excellent. He truly cares about the success and outcome of the experience and will go the extra mile to ensure a positive outcome. The whole team at Houston Dog Ranch is outstanding and the property is a dream. We had a wonderful experience there with our two dogs and highly recommend it to anyone looking for dog training/boarding.

This beauty was rescued running injured through the hot summer streets. She was scared of everything and everyone. Her anxiety and fear expressed through aggression and super scary barky bursts. It made walks way more dramatic than any of us needed. HDR did amazing work with her to remove the anxiety and help her navigate the world without so much fear. The facilities and grounds are beautiful. Their staff is what really sets them apart. We gave them a cranky fear floof and they gave us back a happy well mannered dog. She’s so much happier after six weeks of training. She misses Sarah and her HDR family. So, play days and boarding visits are a must. Thank you for all you’ve done for our happy gurl!

Houston Dog Ranch is the very best place for your fur babies! My 2 year old SheepADoodle, Dolly, just finished training with Sarah and she performed miracles with her! Dolly is now a well-trained, obedient, sweet dog I can now take on long walks with me. Sarah is awesome! Dolly did not want to leave her to come home with me. All of the staff are also so very kind and gentle with all of the residents. Definitely recommend to anyone needing training, boarding or just a day of fun in the country.
