This was my second time using Hercules. In the past they were very professional and responsible. This time however I do not know what has happened to their company. First off I was accidentally booked for 2 days. Then I had to clarify with Alex that it was Larry’s mistake and I only needed one day. Then Larry told him I was moving the size of an apartment. However I was moving into a three-story three bedroom three bath townhome. They tried to show up at 5:30 PM to begin my move. Everyone refused to answer the phone because they knew we were upset. luckily after 10 different calls the dispatcher was able to get a hold of the movers coming and they were able to get there by 4:30pm. Late but still doable. The movers did a good job and were quick. However they did damage shatter a mirrored desk. This desk cost over $2000. For which I was paid out $90. They also damaged my walls. I made sure they noted it on the bill of landing they disputed the insurance claim and I had to go back and give another copy of the bill of landing with it circled where they had wrote the damage. For the damage to wall I was paid $200. I still have not received this money and I moved the beginning of May. I try to not even file a claim for the wall repair because I still have the original paint. And initially they had stated that they would take care of it and I should speak with him before filing the claim. They emphasize speaking with them before filing the claim however I phoned at least five times and emailed over 10 with no response. Therefore I went ahead and filed the claim anyway. But again $90 for something that cost $2500 is ridiculous. The lack of communication in this company is over the top. They are extremely unprofessional and will straight up ignore your calls. Do not use unless you don’t care about your stuff getting broken or ever getting a response.

This seemed like a reputable company at first, setting up the move was easy, however the issue has been getting them to address the damage that resulted from the move. The company they use for claims couldn't not help me because HM was not responding to them, so I was instructed to contact HM myself well this November will be a year and nothing. I keep being told that it is being looked into or I will get a call back and nothing. Please be aware!

We paid extra to have delicate items packed - china, flat screen TV and several pieces of framed artwork. With just one exception, EVERYTHING that we paid extra to have packed was damaged (in the case of the china, we did not even get the extra packing as items were thrown into a wardrobe box). There were also one box and a dolly that never showed up. When settling our claim, we were reminded that claims are only based on weight of them item (unless you pay much more for coverage). We only asked for reimbursement for the extra we were charged to pack the items but that was denied as well. All told, we were offered $86.10 for what we estimated was about $4.000 in damaged items.
We don't have much experience with movers and perhaps they all have their challenges, but Hercules came recommended to us. Unfortunately we would not recommend them unless you pay for the extra insurnace.

The guys I hired were nice but they broke every tvs and broke every glass item I use to have. I cried when as I open each box and gasping for air from crying alot so much I was rolling on the ground with out breathing the move cost me 5k which was just a small move 1 bd room house which would of took me 4hrs by myself but they took 15hrs to finish. I slept in my car cause I'm a 85 year old women using my grandson google account and they took advantage of me and milk the clock. I dont know what I would do for my rent. My fingers hurt and also cant afford medicine

BEWARE! THESE GUYS WILL SCAM YOU AND CHARGE DOUBLE WHAT THEY "QUOTE" CLAIMING THEY ONLY CHARGE HOURLY, AFTER PROMISING OVER THE PHONE ONE TIME FRAME TO MOVE YOU, ONLY TO TAKE DOUBLE THAT. They quoted me nearly $2,000 in boxes and packing materials, so I gathered 3 very large waist high stacks of broke down boxes, 12 wardrobe boxes and a few boxes full of paper. They used "most" of the boxes, and none of the paper or tape and charged me OVER $2,000 for the boxes and packing materials. I literally got charged more than they quoted me on packing materials and I provided 3/4 of the boxes needed. They didn't complete the packing and finished up on moving day, which was a more expensive hourly rate. The trash these guys left behind was insane. Im not even exaggerating when I say, I think I found about 50 rolls of half used tape all over my house, floor and counter tops and SEVERAL inside the boxes. One box contained 7 partially used tape rolls!!
Moving day, I was told by Edward as well as Alberto that it would take 6-7 hours to move everything. This was a local move. Should've cost us at the most $1407 on moving day, per Edwards estimate. The movers came with no water, then asked me if they could have water. So I was left scrambling to get them waters from the gas station, only to find out that our extra fridge that held beer and red bull had been wiped clean and all the empty cans stuffed under the laundry room sink in an attempt to hide it.
(Side note: I requested to have them come out to give me a bid and Edward said they do not do that, that he would go through room by room what furniture we have and give an accurate estimate. Even though they have a list of Ways to not get Scammed by Movers, on their website, that lists nearly every single thing they did to scam us, including “Secure an on-sight written estimate” and “Common Red Flags: over the phone estimates. incomplete documents, last minute price increases, unmarked written trucks, receipts and paperwork that require you to release liability. All of which they did. They try to make you sign a waiver stating you will not dispute any charges to your credit card as well. HUGE RED FLAG!) They were one truck short and forced the movers to split up 2/2. One hurt his shoulder (by moving heavy items alone) the other were gone 6.5 hours! They SLOWLY moved us for a total of 17 hours! And our old house was beyond dirty with more tape rolls and trash, not to mention they left behind an entire SUV load of items.
The entire time the movers were telling us that management & the owners DO NOT care one bit and that they often have to work residential moves until 2-3am. After all this, they charged us nearly $4,000 for the second day! TOTAL this local move cost us nearly $7,500!! We recently moved 11 hours away with pack and move and it cost us only $5K. How does a local move cost $2K more, with the customer providing most of the boxes? Daniel was beyond rude and aggressive with both me and my husband. Daniel ended up telling my husband he didn’t have time for this because he was going to the gym and laughed at us and talked down to us when we told him the guys would be here until way past midnight. He scoffed and told us they’d be done by 10-10:30p! We were told by Edward over the phone and by the movers the day before 6-7 hours tops! They didn’t leave until 2am!!
They destroyed 4 of our new dining chairs, busted a cake dome I received for my wedding by placing it in the bottom of a dish box, and covered it with heavy dishes, my husbands baseball card collection was carelessly thrown in a box, not wrapped, several mint condition cards some worth over $1,000 each were loose in the box, bent and destroyed. Several missing items. And Alberto was using one of my steak knives from a $500 knife set to open boxes and wrapping etc. And I had set down $350 cash that we had set aside for food and tip money, which one of the movers stole. But even worse, I looked over the charges for the boxes, and we were definitely charged close to double what they actually used.
