After 30 years, my hallway restroom needed the wax ring to be replaced and I selected and used universal home experts technician Patrick F, He was very knowledgeable. Explain exactly what he was going to do. After reviewing the problem of the leak at the base of my restroom toilet in the hallway, he arrived promptly and replaced the wax ring in a timely manner. Because of his expertise I would Recommend universal home experts to my friends and family & use them for all my repairs regarding my electrical and plumbing needs.

A toilet wax ring can last as long as the toilet itself, which is usually around 30 years. However, some recommend replacing it every 10 to 20 years to ensure it’s performing optimally.

Very organized with preparation and did a good, quick fix on a light that had fallen due to a junction box rotting. The tech showed up on time and knew exactly what to do and what likely caused it. He also did a 30 point check of my system and talked me through the other findings and how critical they are. For my next electrical issue I will definitely call Mr Sparky.

I’m extremely pleased with the excellent service provided by Nextdoor Electric. They handled two projects for me – installing an EV charger in my garage and repairing my home’s doorbell and chime system – both with outstanding professionalism and expertise.

Fuad did a great job today helping me troubleshoot an issue with an electrical situation in our garage. It was a simple solution and he spent time walking the house with me to find the gfci outlet that could reset the garage outlets. It turned out to be in the garage the whole time, but behind a shelving unit that I had set up and forgotten that it was there. Regardless, he was fantastic the entire time and very professional. He was polite and kind, complimented me on the house and our car (which is pretty sweet)… and even covered his shoes when going inside.

He and a colleague had come out to the house several times this summer to install a generator outlet for us to utilize in case of power outages. That works perfectly. They also put in a ceiling fan on our back porch with a hot outlet that also works great.

I can’t recommend them highly enough. Superb service!

This company took my call, said no problem, we can do it ( requesting a 30 amp plug to my breaker box for a generator ) They got our information and had a technician come out a few days later and were able do to the installation process and showed me how it all works. This company is top notch, professional and courteous. I’m very happy with them and recommend you give them a try.

P.S. Another company I went to in person, filled out paperwork and called 2 times for the same thing never bothered to even return my call. Very unprofessional, and it shows they don’t care for your business. ( Generac 249 )

I came across Cravens Electric as I was looking for an honest, reliable, and affordable electrical company to fix my home dryer. Every time my dryer would turn on, big sparks would come out from between my two outdoor electrical boxes.

The first company that came out was giving me different quotes that were just costing me an arm and a leg up to both arms and legs. And still wouldn’t fix the problem since I was being quoted for a whole bunch of unnecessary items that I didn’t need at the time.

The second company charged a trip fee to just come to my house and show me a tablet with a $300.00 plus price just for them to take a look at my issue, which was a hidden fee. The same details I explained to the technician in person, I could’ve explained over the phone and saved myself the trip fee for them to say that I was going to get charged a big fee to just start looking for a problem.

Finally, Cravens Electric showed up and found the problem almost instantly, very knowledgeable, giving me a good explanation for my problem and what the solution was to get my dryer up and running again. They didn’t try to sell me any other unnecessary stuff or fancy packages, but only what I needed and what I was asking for. Throughout the repair, the team was very professional and attentive to detail about my property, which was a plus. They were extremely helpful in getting my dryer and house back in service in a good timely manner.

It’s just like the mechanics. You can’t just trust any mechanic because they’ll try to sell you an alternator when all you need is a new set of windshield wipers…

I will definitely use them again in the future for other electrical projects, and I highly recommend them.

Colwell Electric installed a standby generator for me this past summer. Although the installation was a complicated and multi-step process, it was handled extremely well by Tina and the staff at Colwell. Michael did a great job of evaluating my house to determine the appropriate size generator for my needs. Colwell subcontracted out the plumbing work, but I was especially pleased with the work done by the plumbers. I did have 2 concerns during the installation process, but Colwell resolved both of these issues quickly and to my satisfaction. Truly appreciate the professionalism and explanation of the service provided. He went step by step to inform us of exactly how he was going to complete the job, and did so in a timely manner.

Great honest service. Usef is an excellent representative of your company. Over the last 3 months, the lights inside my garage quit working. Therefore, I contacted Peoples Choice Electric. Technician Usef arrived at the appointed time. He was extremely COVID-conscious, friendly and professional.
