We just finished the 11th month inspection and have really enjoyed living in our Cityside home. Casey always kept our project moving and communicated any changes every step of the way. Bobby was great, too. He addressed every one of our concerns during the new build and provided some great advice, so we can enjoy our home for years to come. The builder was very accommodating of some changes we wanted to make to the home design. After the build, we really enjoyed working with JP. He has a wealth of knowledge about construction and is very customer-oriented. I’ve probably asked a million questions, and yet JP has graciously answered them all. We’ve had good interactions with their contractors for touch-ups and fixes. I would very much recommend the team I had to build a home. Thank you Casey, Bobby, Nick, JP, and many others who have made this home purchase such a positive experience.

We had a wonderful experience working with Casey and Michael to purchase our new home in the Emile District community. I work for another builder, so I have high standards, and they exceeded every one of them. They were so easy to work with and made sure everything was up to our standards before closing. There were a few small items that came up on our inspection report and they fixed everything quickly and took us through the home to show us how to work everything and made the process painless. The home is beautiful and we’re so excited to get moved in!

We were having some painting related issues in our town home and I was getting nowhere via phone calls and text messages. So decided to visit the Cityside office and got some terrific support from Casey and G in resolving the issues. Casey was very supportive and went out of her way to assist. Very professional, efficient and thoroughly understands great customer service. Don’t lose her!

We bought our CitySide home back in 2021. We had some not-so-small requests/wishes before we finalized and they were very eager to make it happen for us, and they delivered. The PM, was super helpful and very very patient with all of our questions, giving great explanations during the Walk Through on closing day. I can’t rave about J.P., our warranty guy, enough. I was new to being a homeowner and he was always a phone call away to assist with any questions, and if needed, he’d come check out any concerns I may have had. The home and community are beautifully built and I fell in love right away. I would highly recommend CitySide for your next home and will definitely be using them in the future. Make sure and ask for Ryan. He is extremely knowledgeable and very helpful when looking for homes. And bless his heart, very patient as well 😉

Done with our secondary bathroom and so excited with how it came out. Eric was easy to deal with and was on top of anything that came up. We wanted to change the wall color after they started painting and Eric came in and made the switch on the spot and went to pick up the paint we wanted. Since no one was home they where able to work on there own schedule and got the bathroom completed it a lot quicker then expected.

We have completed 2 projects with Unique Builders. The ease of the working relationship on our first project naturally lead to engaging Unique for a second project. We would 10/10 recommend working with Unique. The ease of communication alone was a huge selling point.

The first project was completed with Marc and Scott. They were absolutely amazing at easing my stress and anxiety as we embarked on our first rebuild as homeowners. They explained everything that they were doing to eliminate the issues we were experiencing. The crews performing the work were very respectful and professional. When we had to call Unique back out for warranty work on this project and there were zero issues. Darryl responded within 24 hours of notice and Unique was out to complete the repairs within 2 weeks. Darryl was an absolute joy to work with and embodies customer service.

Project number 2 for the bathroom build-back and remodel was completed with Ronen and material selection with Ana at the design center. At the time that we started working with Ronen the bathroom was partially demolished due to a water leak. Since the portions of the walls, shower, and vanity were affected by the water leak we planned to do a little bit of a bathroom update. In meeting with Ronen, we discussed how to use the space more effectively to make the space feel like a true Primary bathroom. The initial design we discussed in our meeting did not work out with the bathroom dimensions so Ronen took a shot at presenting a new design with our specific needs in mind. Ronen took our ideas and transformed them into a work of art. The design he shared with us exceeded our expectations.

To be expected with any remodel there were tweaks to the design plan as different phases of the project fell into place. Ronen was able to provide his expertise and pivot on the design plan to ensure the integrity of the bathroom design was maintained. His eye for design is unmatched. Throughout the remodel we were beyond impressed at how every aspect of the bathroom pulled together. Ronen is an artist disguised as a builder.

The crews for the bathroom were very respectful and professional. The communication was great and they addressed all of my concerns throughout the day to ensure my needs were met.

We had always wanted to add an outdoor kitchen to our backyard. We had a small space but a big vision and Unique Builders were able to make it a reality. We were very particular going in on the design and they made it all work in our small space. Project did not take long and the crew were extremely professional. Thank you Eric & Eli!

I am very pleased with the shelves and cabinets installed by Luxurious Construction! They turned out beautiful just in time for my event. I was very appreciative of how he worked very hard to keep his word to have it done in time! He also repaired my bathroom shower, treated mold, and installed wood flooring in my office. It looks brand new and I love it! I will definitely be using his services in the future!

Wonderful work! Giovanni and his crew are legit! No shortcuts! And he really takes the time to listen and understand what you want done…We had an awful experience with a previous contractor, so we were hesitant to get a new one mid remodel, but he was just what we needed…He fixed the problems of the previous contractor, and he has specialists for everything, carpentry, brick mason, painter, etc…He doesn’t just send a handyman to figure it out as they go. Not to mention, they did beautiful work on our home! We have other projects planned, and he and his crew will be the ones to do it! This is a great company that actually does wonderful, quality work. This the second back porch/cover they have built for us. The last one was at our previous home, 20 years ago. This time we also had them build us a kitchen island inside. Every job has been exceptionally well done, and we’ll definitely hold them in high regard for our next project.

Pros:
They simply do great work, meeting or exceeding expectations every step of the way.

Expert craftsmanship and tons of experience.

Project managers take the hassle out of dealing with individual contractors. (David and James were great to work with.) They also anticipated concerns before I needed to mention them and even replaced some siding that I had damaged before.

Cons:

Among the most expensive options, but you do get what you paid for.

Original estimate was about 20% less than the final bill. We paid significantly for upgrades to the counter top, the decking, and the porch ceiling. The estimate was based on the cheapest options evidently. The lesson I learned is to ask for those specifics at the time of the bids. (Possible other bidders did the same.)

Had to hire a separate company to complete the gutters. They initially said they’d move it from the original roof line to the new one. In the end, they realized they were unable to do it and unwilling to refund anything. One mitigating factor is that another section needs to be built from scratch, so a gutter guy was going to be needed.

They don’t do painting! Fortunately, we discovered Painting Solutions Houston who did a great job.

All Star Construction renovated our garage. They were wonderful. From the insulation to the electrical, the floors and the air conditioning to the screen door they installed. All the contractors were wonderful. Jeff was our project manager and he went far and beyond to make sure everything was done right. He was the best. I would definitely recommend All Star for a construction project. I would call them again in the future . Thank you guys for everything.

10 years ago All-Star construction did a phenomenal expansion on my home. Their workmanship has stood the test of time. Most impressively, I recently called to get a copy of the land survey, and Angela not only took the time to find the file but emailed it to me in less than 24 hours. Simply outstanding!

We cannot say enough wonderful things about our experience with Tricoast Home Builder! We are building the Augusta, and this will be the first time this plan is being built, it’s been an incredible journey from start to 75% complete. (I will do an update of the finished project in about 6 weeks, I wanted to share my experience thus far)

Willian “Alex” has been an absolute rockstar—literally 2 days on the job he was just learning the products, and trying to work in a model that wasn’t ready to show yet, he was so professional and gracious in guiding us every step of the way. A special Thank you Alex, for answering all of our questions, and literally babysitting us each time we have visited the site. We have enjoyed becoming friends with you!

Kayla at the design center was equally amazing; where we had some doubts on actually building again and not being able to see a “model” of the home, her attention to detail gave us the assurance we had chosen the right team to build our forever home! The ladies in the design center made the process seamless and explained why and where we needed the upgrades, they just didn’t focus on “selling” us upgrades, they challenged us on choices and helped us make sense of everything!

And Cody—OMG! The closer on this Trifecta team!! What a phenomenal superintendent, we love his energy!! His expertise and attention to details have truly brought this show-stopper of a home to life. We had some idea of what it could be, but WOWZER is an understatement. So here’s the kicker…. we heard horror stories from friends and social media on modern new construction gone bad , that builders don’t build like they used to, so we hired a separate third-party inspector, who was blown away by the craftsmanship and basically said we wasted our money on his services. He went as far to say that if all builders worked with this level of precision and quality, he’d be out of business! He offered to do the final walk for free since it was such a breeze on the pre pour and the pre drywall inspection. Not sure any builder can say this but the Tricoast team can!

From the start to 75% completion, this all-star team has done such a phenomenal job at bringing our dream retirement home to life, including adding the separate waterline for my coffee machine in the kitchen!! They’ve exceeded all of our expectations, and we truly can’t say enough good things about them (and we promise we weren’t paid to say this!). Malcolm is the Best. Initially I started my journey wanting to buy a home, no set plan, viewing homes just to “see” what was out there. Growing up it was a long term goal to build my home, not knowing the opportunity would come. I almost didn’t walk inside Tricoast but Thank God I did. The previous builder only wanted to sell, that’s it. Once I walked into Tricoast Builders, Malcolm presented me with an experience of a lifetime. He was pleasant, presentable, respectful, highly knowledgeable. He took his time explaining the ins and outs. It was the best experience and was the ultimate reason I decided to purchase with them and build. I said I’m going to keep looking and he was able to give a full detailed and positive description of every builder on the block that I would see and after visiting each he was spot on. Needless to say none compared to Tricoast and I made a u-turn and came right back. If I wasn’t buying and building with Malcolm for Tricoast, I wasn’t going to be getting a house. Now I can say Malcom has helped me turn that house into our new home. Thank you Malcolm!

I purchased my new home in the Emberly subdivision in February. I had the pleasure of working with Malcolm and Corey . They both made this buying process a smooth process. Corey really made sure my home was totally completed and flawless. He made sure I understood my warranties and who to contact if a problem occurred. He was always there when I had questions. My wife and I just closed on a new-build with Malcolm as the sales rep. I have to say, we never once felt pressured, tricked, demeaned or manipulated when talking to him about our home. He made buying our home a great experience and we can’t say enough good things about how professional and courteous Malcolm is/was throughout the entire process. Overall, one of the best experiences I’ve had with a remodeling contractor. Recommended. We’re very excited about our remodeled bathroom.

Original issue. In the Full bath: Bathtub rusted through, and return on tub had leaked at some point. The plumbing was old too. The entire tub, surround, and plumbing needed replacement. Half Bath: leak from roof line caused water damage on drywall near bottom wall of the half bath. Required some new drywall, trim, and both bathrooms needed to be repainted.

Scope of work. Demo the tub and tile, remove and dispose of old tub. Install valve for local water shutoff. Install new plumbing behind wall, install new tub, drywall, trim, tile surround, and paint. In half bath: install replacement Drywall, trim, and paint.

Communicative. Robert answered calls and texts promptly, and was able to get back to me very readily. When a sub contractor was scheduled to arrive, he would always notify me of the date and estimated time. Sub contractors were generally on time. One or two were an hour to 1.5 hours late, but other than those, they were on time.

Flexible. Scheduling was easy to manage. When I had certain days around the holidays where I would be on vacation, these were scheduled around. Work was performed near the second half of december and into January. Even during this busy time of year, they were able to fit us in. Workers never came in on Sundays, which was good I guess. Gave us some time to recoup, especially if more work was going to be done Monday.

Worked efficiently. Sub contractors would stay into the evening as required, working as late as 7 or 8pm. This was to my preference as I knew they would be able to get the work done quicker, and have to spend less days per trade. Sub contractors worked quickly, but did not compromise the quality of work.

Used proper materials. Materials (from my very spare knowledge) were fairly good. Water resistant backer board was used, with a water protectant adhesive. Any wood structure that was installed was treated wood. Base (non-upgrade) options for paints were eggshell or semi-gloss, and we were allowed to pick any color for each room. New bathroom hardware was a matching set, which was nice, because we were later able to order matching towel bars.

Accomodating. When pointing out concerns or issues, Robert was able to not only understand the problem and the fix, but also suggest viable alternatives. For example, the tile alcove had rough edges, and the edges were unpainted. Not a huge issue, but Robert suggested a light sanding, and water resistant paint. This turned out to be a perfect fix. Also, for final touch up, there were a few areas that I realized were not fully caulked or caulked correctly, and these were resolved quickly and fully.

Went the extra mile. Plumbing was upgraded to PEX (flexible water supply tubing). Valves were installed to shutoff the plumbing before the shower / tub, and an access was added in the drywall (nice!). Painter also painted inside of our towel closet in the bathroom, which was previously a disgusting yellow color, is now a bright white. Glass Shower door and panel, for a really clean look.

Finished on time / early. Took them a few days shy of the 25 allocated to finish the job, and that was during the holidays.

English speaking. Every sub-contractor had at least one english speaking member, which made conveying concerns, problems, and asking questions fairly easy.

Dirty but clean (at the same time). With our bathroom being second story, I expected some dust, but over the course of the construction, the carpet on our stairs and landings (which, granted, was already stained in a few places), got pretty unclean, both from dirt patches, and few small construction adhesive patches. The painters were really good about covering up the floor and carpet while painting though. Robert, and his company are upstanding however, and refunded more than enough to compensate for this. I’ll be scheduling a carpet cleaning here soon.

Robert unlike many contractors in the business of renovating homes, is respectful, punctual, accommodating, and the main thing is that he executes quality workmanship and provides very competitive prices. I can tell you you will not find all qualities in 1 stop but you will with Robert. I would definitely refer more of my clients to him.

Owner Robert Campbell and his crew did an amazing job with the repairs on my home! From the plumbing to the drywall/rebuild/painting.
