I got my shaadi day makeup and hair done. Berkha was absolutely amazing, we had previously done a trial and the day of was absolute perfection. I think the photos speak for themself!

I got my bridal makeup done from Berkha and she did an amazing job with my makeup. The hair done that day by some lady was did a great job. The price paid for the work showed on my face and look. The makeup done by Sonia for my reception was a complete disaster and also my hair done for reception day got undone and curls opened up within an hour( forgot the name of the lady who did my hair for reception day). Felt like it was such a waste of money as this place is pricey i expected great makeup and hair. Not only that but the reception day makeup felt like it was something done at home that i would've done myself. Very disappointed.

Fashion Face is a very well known salon in Houston for South Asian brides, and immediately upon booking my makeup artist for my wedding I knew I would like to book them for several reasons - they have vast experiences with heavy dresses, and I’ve only seen amazing makeup compliment the heaviness of the dress and very well done dupatta settings, both which were extremely important to me since I wanted peace of mind knowing the makeup and dupattas would last through the night. I contacted them almost a year in advance for my wedding receptions (both Shaadi and Valima) to make sure they are available, and they delivered incredible results. They were extremely responsive over email and working with my timings for the bookings, though they had not met me or spoken to me on the phone. During the appointments, Berkha did an amazing job on my makeup on both days and I received compliments all night. Different ladies handled my hair and dupatta on each day, and did my hair accordingly to the look I wanted and also in a way to carry the heaviness of the dupatta. Though my dresses were extremely heavy, I felt secure all night and my head carried the weight of the dupattas I wore. Overall, I highly recommend Fashion Face to any bride looking to book makeup and hair for their wedding.

I came from out of state for a family wedding and I was nervous about having someone other than my usual person do my makeup, but when I saw the instagram page for fashion face salon, I WAS SOLD. The communication while I was still in my hometown by this salon was so prompt and professional. I ended up booking three days of makeup back to back. Sonia the makeup artist did my makeup and was BEYOND AMAZING. For each look I would simply show her what I was wearing and I let her choose the look. i was received sooo many compliments. She used amazing products (that were great quality) and was thorough with her work. She took her time and made sure I was happy each time I left. Even in over 100 degree weather my makeup lasted for over 10 hours.

I hired fashion Face Beauty to do my makeup for my nikkah and reception. Berkha did a good job, but I wasn’t too crazy about the person (nusrat) who did my hair. I didn’t want to get my hair done by them in the first place but pretty much had to since it was part of the package which was already SO expensive. Nusrat unfortunately does the same hairstyles on almost every bride imo, check their Instagram and you will know what I mean. My nikkah hair ended up looking acceptable but the curls got undone and frizzy and I ended up getting Amazingkreations help in getting it fixed since Christina was there to do my sisters hair. Reception hair I wasn’t too happy about and even the photographer ended up having a hard time with it as it wasn’t looking right in the photos. Anyways what’s done is done. But just thought I’d give everyone a heads up about the hair.
