The Childhood Center

I can't say enough about our experience at The Childhood Center. My daughter was a student there for 2.5 years until we moved, and it has been such a hard transition to say goodbye. From day one, she was treated with a unique love combined with the structure that all children crave. They are incredible at including parents in the day-to-day life of their kids at school. After attending other schools, I can say that TCC excels at: -Offering outside activities during the school day (music, dance, soccer, etc.) -Parent communication - a detailed monthly newsletter of curriculum, menu, and celebrations -Consistent updates on your child with numerous photos a day -Balancing love and discipline (my child is SO well behaved at school thanks to them!) -A focus on health for students -Involved staff -Most importantly, my child was happy every day and never wanted to leave school We already miss TCC so much and wish we never had to leave. This school is a gem.

Hello to everyone! Our experience at this school has been simply fantastic. My oldest daughter started first and she was very happy from the beginning. Now the youngest is going and he likes it a lot too. It is not just a nursery school. As I said before, it is a school where they are taught from a very young age. They learn math, arts, science, music, sports and also languages, which is very important for us that they continue learning Spanish. All the teachers are excellent, and the staff too. The director, Fatima, is a treasure, she is very good, she is always willing to help, to make things easier for you, and that is greatly appreciated, especially when you are not from the country and need more help. We were going to change to another area and the only reason we didn't do it was to avoid moving the children to another school. Thank you so much for everything!

Our daughter, Amelia, has been at The Childhood since she was 2 years old. The staff and teachers are caring, kind, trustworthy, and friendly. Throughout the years, she has learned a lot from potty training, manners, ABCs, counting, arts, math, science, STEM, reading, Spanish, singing, dancing, and so many more. She is now 5 and just graduated Pre-K there. We weren’t ready to leave yet so we are enrolled in their summer camp program. Highly recommend this place for your child.

Having been there for a little over two years I can comfortably say that TCC has continued to try and make efforts to provide a fun, safe and educational environment for the kids there. There are plenty of opportunities for extracurricular activities and the staff regularly puts together fun themes for the kids outside of the usual revolving curriculum ( ex. space week, gardening week, etc). They also regularly put on activities either Friday afternoons or on Saturdays for parents/families to come and enjoy (mothers’/fathers’ day, spring, summer BBQ, trunk or treat, winter bash, etc) Most all of the teachers are wonderful and they really have a collaborative spirit at the school. Since it’s a smaller school, you will regularly bump into former teachers in the hallway and they don’t hesitate to say hi to you and your child. The front desk ladies are incredibly friendly and helpful and seem to have a good working relationship with all of the teachers. We have never had to worry about our child’s safety/well-being while he was there. The price was also fair for the area it is located. It was overall a pleasant experience and we were saddened when the time came to move on. If you are in the area, it is worth considering this daycare for your little ones.

We are very happy and satisfied with the great work that TCC does. Our daughter started in Infants classroom and then in Toddler I where she was very happy. We loved the educational program they have, offering summer workshops, Spanish courses and different activities and events every month, encouraging children and parents to participate. In addition, they have this amazing app which informs us, in detail, of each diaper change, meal, nap, and activities carried out in our children's class. The teachers are wonderful, always attentive to the needs of the children, teaching them with patience and always with a great attitude. The administrative team was always very kind and accessible to answer any question. Our daughter always woke up happy and wanted to go to daycare to play with her friends and learn new things. We were really very happy to be part of TCC and we recommend it 100%.
