I usually visit the Paper Source at the Highland Village location, but I chose to come to this one because it's closer to my house and I was shopping nearby that day. Overall, they have a great selection of products. However, I noticed that some of the prices listed on the shelves did not match the prices at the register. When I brought this up, the person checking me out seemed annoyed or irritated, which made the shopping experience uncomfortable and unenjoyable. Which ultimately feels like customer service is not a priority. I hope for a better experience if I visit again in the future. - unique place for gifts - gift wrapping available

They sell a wide variety of wrapping paper, ribbon, and cards. The store also offers plenty of charming trinkets that make for great novelty gifts. Their gift-wrapping service is reasonably priced, and the wrapped gifts always look amazing. I’ve used this service for years. Even when they’re busy, and the wait is longer, the quality remains excellent. However, the service can be quite unreliable. It’s extremely frustrating when: - I drove all the way to the edge of civilization (the 610 Loop marks the boundary, after all)... - I spent 30 minutes circling the parking lot (because Highland Village has the worst parking in Houston year-round)... - I ended up parking a quarter of a mile away... - I carefully selected wrapping paper, hoping to pair it with a beautiful ribbon... - Only to be told they couldn’t wrap a single gift because one person brought in 75 presents to be wrapped! That wasted an hour of my time that I’ll never get back. They really should limit the number of gifts a customer can have wrapped at once or hire additional staff to accommodate large orders. I’ll be looking for another place that offers similar quality as a backup.

Came in looking for a gift idea and i luckily found one. At check out, Sarah was really friendly and welcoming and had a conversation with the customer before me but when it came to me she was cold and not welcoming. Honestly felt that it was racially motivated and that I was not a rewards member. My visit was fine except for check out. They could’ve had a long day but they need to be mindful and treat everyone the same.
