Taylor and Brittany were absolutely PHENOMENAL and were so compassionate and helpful, and did a great job at making sure I felt comfortable at all times. Amber at the front desk is SO sweet and patient. Dr O'hern is amazing as well - I've been seeing her for different issues since 2020 and she remembered who I was 4 years later, so it was a nice feeling to be recognized. I'm so grateful for shady grove fertility!!! Claire in finance was also incredible and so helpful and thorough. Thank you to all the staff who guided us along the way as we expand our family!

Our journey started in July 2024, my husband and I have been trying to conceive naturally and it was not working out. We called Shady Grove, to set an appointment and just so happened we were put with Dr. O’Hern. I am forever thankful. She has been so patient, and explains things to us very well. My husband and I are not familiar with the medical field, but the breaks everything down so we understand it clearly. Any question or concern I had, I would message a nurse through the portal and they would get back with me either that day, or the next day if I contacted outside of business hours. We used the Fannin location and were so happy with the staff, we were welcomed every visit to a comfortable setting. Going through fertility struggles is not easy for anyone but having Dr. O’Hern by our side has made it so much better. We left (January 2025) our last appointment (we have graduated to an OB) happy because we got the results we wanted, 8 weeks pregnant, but sad that we will no longer be working with Dr. O’Hern. I will forever recommend Dr. O’Hern and her staff to anyone struggling with fertility issues!

Hands down the staff. They were impeccable. Amber, their secretary who is amazing and sweet. She always greeted me with a friendly smile and made my check ins smooth. Tiffany, the sonographer, who is filled with so much joy. She always brought so much happiness when she scanned me. Taylor, my nurse, she deserves more than a 10. As I’m writing this it’s bringing me tears since I can finally say I’m graduating this clinic. Taylor was so informative, patient, kind, and genuine. She somehow made any sad or heartbreaking news into a positive one. She truly made my time at SGF memorable. Last but not least, Dr. O’Hern was fantastic. She does not sugarcoat anything. She’s here make babies and I appreciate her hard work. So thankful for finally being able to say “I’m pregnant!”

I simply cannot sing enough praises , or thank Dr. Candice O’ Hearn and her amazing team - Tiffany (who did an amazing job with my sonogram today), Amber ( who always checks me in with a light hearted and jovial spirit ), Briance ( who was sensitive enough to my requests during weigh in ), both Taylor and Brittany- the amazing nurses that have consistently stuck with me through all my follow-ups through the IVF experience . From the initial consult with Dr. O’Hearn, I could tell I was in the hands of a sensitive , empathetic physician who would speak to me like an equal , like a human being , with every appointment being more like a conversation , rather than an intimidating interrogation. Her bed side manner and patience , in my opinion, has been unmatched ! For once , I didn’t dread going to my clinic appointments because I was certain I had a physician rooting for an ideal outcome . She was also willing to entertain a completely different path of treatment that was never even brought up at a previous clinic as a consideration . As someone who was previously told to consider surrogacy, I was so happy that Dr O Hearn was willing to entertain a kitchen sink protocol and leave no stone unturned as to how to approach my care . When I say her approach is patient centered, I mean it !! It’s all about the patient and what is likely to be successful for your specific body type , your gynecological history and specific situation , not simply generic protocols . There is a science to IVF and Dr O Hearn was willing to truly delve into the specifics to pursue success. I also super appreciated that my nurses were consistent, and it was so obvious that they reviewed my case and were familiar with my chart every time they called ! They were so empathetic to all my questions , and if I had a quick question for the Doctor , it was no problem for them to get an answer and get back to me asap . They just, simply care. And it’s so obvious with how they operate . I would highly highly highly recommend Dr O Hearn and her entire team to any woman on this sensitive and emotional journey !
